About the role
Salt Lake City, UT branch needs welders for ASME Pressure Vessel Manufacturing jobs.
Responsibilities
- Must pass 3G vertical up weld test using a GMAW process.
- Blueprint reading helpful but not required.
- Advancement opportunities available.
Requirements
- Must bring own gear including welding hood, gloves, welding jacket/sleeves.
- Safety glasses and ear plugs provided upon arrival.
- Weld test involves ½” plate vertical up pulse mig hard wire .052 wire.
- Visual inspection and X-ray required after test.
- Payment starts at $25.00 per hour upon successful completion of the weld test.
Qualifications
- Pulse mig welding experience.
- Grinding experience.
- TIG welding experience.
- Lay out and blueprint reading skills.
- Fit-up experience on round vessels.
- Hand burning and back gouging (air arc) experience.

Pay
