Welder / Fabricator (ASME Custom Pressure Vessels)

Buckeye Fabricating Company is hiring a Pressure Vessel Welder / Fabricator to build custom ASME pressure vessels and tanks from start to finish. This role involves fitting, fabricating, and welding complete vessels using prints—this is not production welding. We build high-quality, custom steel tanks for a variety of applications and seek someone who takes pride in their work, understands fit-up, and holds tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Read prints to lay out and fit material
• Weld (MIG, TIG, FCAW) to build pressure vessels and tanks from start to finish
• Maintain strong fabrication skills and attention to detail

Requirements

• Ability to independently build vessels from prints start to finish
• Experience with fit-up, fabrication, and welding

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday - Friday)
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 12:30 AM (Monday - Thursday)

Pay

Compensation is based on experience and skill level, including fit-up, fabrication, and welding ability. Higher pay is reserved for candidates who can independently build from prints start to finish.
