Welder Conveyor Technician

About the role

The Welder Conveyor Technician is responsible for operating and maintaining welding equipment on conveyor systems, ensuring quality and efficiency in metal fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding machines and conveyor systems to assemble metal components.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Adjust and maintain welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and comply with OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in welding or similar field.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
• Experience with automated welding systems.
• Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
