Responsibilities
- Assemble and install TRACHTE metal building components including structural framing, wall and roof panels, doors, windows, HVAC units, and support steel
- MIG welding (GMAW / FCAW) on structural steel and light-gauge components
- Perform welding in multiple positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
- Read and interpret structural blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to determine fit-up and weld requirements
- Measure, layout, fit, and align components using tape measures, squares, levels, and other layout tools
- Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure they meet TRACHTE quality, safety, and structural standards
- Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and man lifts to move steel, panels, and finished assemblies
- Load, unload, stage, and position heavy materials and building sections
- Complete required production and quality documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with safety policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in structural welding, fabrication, construction, or a related trade
- MIG welding experience (GMAW / FCAW); AWS D1.1 certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions
- Proficiency with welding equipment, fabrication tools, hand tools, and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship and safety
- Ability to meet physical job demands, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in varying weather or environmental conditions
Qualifications
You have proven experience in structural welding, fabrication, construction, or a related trade. You have MIG welding experience (GMAW / FCAW); AWS D1.1 certification is preferred. You can read and interpret structural drawings, welding symbols, and work instructions. You are proficient with welding equipment, fabrication tools, hand tools, and power tools. You have strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship and safety. You can meet physical job demands, including lifting, pulling, pushing, and standing for extended periods. You can work in a fast-paced environment and in varying weather or environmental conditions.
Skills
Strong skills in structural welding, fabrication, and construction are essential. Proficiency with MIG welding and reading and interpreting blueprints and welding symbols is required. Attention to detail and safety awareness are crucial. Physical stamina and adaptability are also important.

Shifts available include Day: 6:00 am – 4:30pm, Night: 5:00 pm – 3:30 am, and Weekend: 5:00 am – 5:00 pm.
