Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Welding of aluminum, carbon and stainless steel
- Cutting torch operations
- Reading and following blueprints and drawings
- Using tape measure
- Performing welding procedures, including fabrication and assembly
- Complying with WN welding procedures and engineering drawings
- Performing preventative maintenance of welding machinery
- Adhering to the general safety plan
- Performing other duties as requested by supervisor
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Basic reading, writing, and verbal skills
- Knowledge and training provided by Wabash National
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment

Working Conditions/Environment
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibrations
- Exposure to extreme conditions at job sites with high noise levels
- Work in small spaces and frequently lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle, and operate tools or controls for the entirety of their shift
Physical Demands
- Regularly required to stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle, and operate tools or controls for the entirety of their shift
- Full range of motion in arms and hands
- All welders must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees
- Good hand-eye coordination
