Requirements

• Trustworthy and capable of working in an unsupervised environment
• Display knowledge and experience in manufacturing methods and techniques
• Identify ways to be proactive and independent
• Able to work with agility and attention to detail
• Able to identify and troubleshoot problems in a fast-paced environment
• Able to meet physical requirements of this position
• Able to pass a drug test
• At least 24 years of age

Job Duties

• Demonstrate welding, cutting, and fabrication skills, including experience
• Using a variety of welding equipment and procedures
• Determining the appropriate welding method, based on requirements
• Utilizing TIG, MIG, wire and DC welders
• Painting experience preferred
• Take and read measurements to plan the layout and procedures of many different types of projects
• Read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings
• Assess the process or actions needed for the job
• Work with coworkers to complete the project in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain a safe and orderly work area
• Display familiarity with crossovers, tanks, and stairs
• Practice safe usage of cutting torches, plasma cutters, and grinding equipment
• Perform all other duties as assigned
