About the role

Join our fabrication team as a MIG Welder working on heavy carbon steel frames and structures. This role involves both welding and part fit-up, with opportunities to apply TIG skills for repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MIG welds on heavy carbon steel frames and structures
• Fit up your own parts and assemblies accurately according to blueprint specifications prior to welding
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and fabrication specifications
• Inspect completed welds to ensure compliance with industry and ISO standards
• Maintain welding tools and equipment; perform minor repairs and setups as needed
• Work closely with team members to meet daily manufacturing production goals
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
• Perform occasional TIG welding for minor equipment or weldment repairs as required
