About the role

We’re looking for motivated self-starters with innovative thinking to join our team in Belton, Missouri, and help us achieve our growth and performance goals.

Responsibilities

• Welding of galvanized, carbon steel, and aluminum materials and assemblies
• Plasma and stitch cutting
• Weld platforms and pennant plates as needed
• Prepare assemblies for shipping
• Perform inspections of own work
• Maintain Kan Ban levels
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of hands-on experience in a manufacturing facility, small part assembly preferred
• Ability to work overtime and weekends, as needed
• Reliable and dependable attendance
• MIG/TIG wire feed welding skills; experience in aluminum welding and robotics strongly preferred
• Ability to communicate verbally and in written form with supervisors and co-workers
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Physical requirements include frequent reaching, gripping, and carrying up to 50 lbs., plus frequent standing, stooping, bending, squatting, and walking
• Must work in an unheated and non-air-conditioned manufacturing/warehouse setting
• Safety glasses with side shields are required in the manufacturing environment
• Must handle multiple tasks and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress work environment
• Must have or be able to obtain certification by CWI
• Ability to pass a pulmonary function test
