WELDER

Responsibilities

• General fabrication of mechanical parts
• Use pneumatic or electric hand tools for tasks such as deburring or surface prep of metal parts
• Follow both written and verbal work instructions
• Interface with the enterprise time keeping system
• Interface with machine controls
• Use and read basic machine shop measuring equipment including, but not limited to, dial calipers, tape measures, and protractors
• Take direction from the area lead or supervisor as required
• Record all work performed in the enterprise system for monitoring labor efficiency and utilization
