Duties And Responsibilities

• Welds and cuts black carbon and galvanized steel
• Interprets blueprints
• Operates hand tools, grinders, and other shop machinery
• Ensures product is manufactured according to print
• Keeps area neat and clean in accordance with 6S leadership and standards/goals
• Complies with all company safety requirements

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous professional welding experience
• Fundamental understanding of various weld processes and welding machinery
• Reads and understands schematics and blueprints
• Reads a tape measure
• Adds, subtracts, multiplies, and divides (in Lbs., Ft., Inch.)
• Comfortably lifts 50 pounds repeatedly and overhead
