About the role

Responsible for performing all welder maintenance operations. Typical hours are Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Hours may vary depending on weather and customer demand.

Responsibilities

• Perform all welding and related maintenance for all areas.
• Lay out and arrange parts and different types of fabrication.
• Set machines to perform all welding operations, including stick welding, aluminum welding, and wire feed welding.
• Set equipment to perform all cutting operations.
• Operate a motor vehicle.
• Enforce safety rules and regulations (Federal, state, local and company policies).
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain one required.
• CDL desirable.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, drill presses, grinders, saws, related fabricating, maintenance and safety equipment.
