Qualifications / Requirements

• Minimum of one year of experience in welding and pipe fitting
• Pass 6G Butt and Tee Branch welding tests
• Complete API 1104 certification
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
• Understanding of API 1104 certification standards and procedures
• Experience in turntable welding preferred
• Agree to pre-employment and random drug and/or alcohol tests as required by DOT

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Receive raw materials for projects and match them to corresponding blueprints/drawings
• Fit and weld projects according to blueprints/drawings specifications and API 1104 standards
• Support production schedules to minimize rework and ensure timely delivery to clients
• Accurately maintain required records and documentation for each project as directed by the Fabrication Foreman and/or Manager
• Uphold a clean and safe work environment
• Timely report any maintenance needs for equipment in your work area to avoid production delays
• Safely operate a forklift
• Comply with all corporate safety requirements and standards, including welder safety equipment, protective clothing, protective lenses/goggles, steel-toed boots, etc.

Starting Pay Range

$26 - $30 per hour, depending on experience.
