About the Role
As a Welder at Hubbell, you will perform high-quality TIG welding on aluminum and copper components and assemblies according to engineering specifications. You will contribute to critical infrastructure solutions that power communities, people, and the planet by ensuring reliable and efficient energy infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on aluminum and copper components per engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Set up and weld components to create complex assemblies.
- Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
- Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
- Welding certification from a recognized program or 1-3 years of welding experience.
- Proficiency in TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings and safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- OSHA 10-hour safety course is a plus.
