The Role
The TIG Welder/Assembler will hold a permanent & full-time position at the Ramsey, MN plant.
Responsibilities
- TIG welding stainless steel pipes
- Weld and assemble pipes, equipment, instruments and valves to frame structures
- Welding structural frames per AWS and welding SS pipe per ASME
- Glue PVC pipe and fittings
- Measure, cut, drill, tap and mechanical assembly
- Layout and follow direction on running conduit to devices
- Thread and cut rigid metal conduits
- Respect the product planning timescale
- Respect and follow safety regulations
- Ensure a good quality product
- Support process improvements
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Carry out all other related tasks
Requirements
- A minimum 3 years of welding experience
- Ability to read technical plans
- Candidates will be required to pass a 6G weld test
- Good memory and capable of multi-tasking
