About the role

TBEI – Tishomingo is a cutting-edge manufacturer of Class 3-8 truck bodies and truck and trailer hoists. We are currently hiring Welders to join our DuraClass team.

Responsibilities

• In-house Weld Certification - with premium paygrade

• Moves components into place using jib boom, crane, conveyors, or manual lifting
• Reads and interprets blueprints to lay out, position, and align parts
• Tack weld and clamp components in preparation for welding
• Efficiently performs wire-feed welding on steel components
• Ensures measurement accuracy and consistent weld quality
• Performs routine equipment maintenance
• Keeps a clean, organized workspace
• Maintains a strong safety mindset and prioritizes safety in all work activities
• Supports Lean manufacturing and team-based improvements

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a pre-employment welding test
• Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator when welding stainless steel
• Capable of rapidly and efficiently producing high-quality welded parts
• Capable of reading blueprints and using measuring tools
• Recent graduates accepted
• Must have good attitude, basic welding skills, and willingness to learn
• Must be reliable and great attendance is a must
