Welder

We are searching for an entry-level Welder at our Portland, OR facility. This role is ideal for a candidate who has recently received their welding certification or has less than 1–2 years of experience and is looking to join an amazing team.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to exacting specifications and prepare machines for production.
• Operate various projection welding machine setups.
• Arrange job parts by line number and by like pieces for processing.
• Check all dimensions and locations of hardware cut-outs and frame handing for accuracy.
• Mark identification information on material for communication with fellow employees and the end user.
• Install all required reinforcements, including but not limited to hinge and strike reinforcements, various kinds of anchors, corner gussets, and closer reinforcements.

• Proficient at reading work orders.
• Strong concern for quality control.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
