Welder

Position Summary

As a Welder, you will produce parts by using your ability to position, align, fit, and weld fabricated plates, structural, and shapes into fabricated products.

Essential Duties And Other Responsibilities

• Read engineering prints and work orders to determine assembly and material requirements.
• Lay out, torch, tack, or weld to specified dimensions as indicated by scale, rule, or template.
• Measure work pieces to determine dimensional accuracy.
• Clean up as required to remove scale, slag, weld spatter, and weld laps.
• Operate any and all machines, from setup operation on assigned production line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• MIG Welding experience.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills: able to identify problems and implement corrective actions.
• Basic knowledge of bolted and welded steel tanks.
• 1-year Industrial experience or training.
• Proficient in reading blueprints.
• Advanced level of knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
