Welder

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Welder to join their safety-conscious team. This role focuses on the maintenance and repair of all certified welding for specialized assets, along with maintaining company equipment.

Responsibilities

• Weld materials using SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), GMAW (gas metal arc welding), FCAW (flux-cored arc welding), and GTAW (gas tungsten arc welding).
• Basic fitting experience and knowledge.
• Understand raw materials, MTRs (Material Test Reports), and electrode classifications.
• Perform gouging processes (air carbon arc, plasma arc, oxy-fuel).
• Execute cutting processes (mechanical and power tools, oxy-fuel, plasma arc, air carbon arc, electric arc).
• Clean and inspect component parts for defects and shape.
• Perform quality control checks.
• Follow directions provided in drawings, blueprints, and work orders.

Requirements

• High School Diploma plus specialized training or 1 year of college.
• 5–7 years of welding experience.
• Fabrication skills (e.g., cutting, grinding) are essential.

Qualifications

• GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) Certification (required).
• SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) Certification (required).
• FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) Certification (required).
• GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) Certification (required).
