Welder

Job Summary

The Welder is responsible for interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts. Responsibilities include reading and understanding blueprints, sourcing materials, measuring and cutting materials to specifications, welding materials, checking finished work, and performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of welding techniques (STICK preferred)
• Ability to work well with others
• High school diploma or GED
• Welding experience in a related industry
• Extensive knowledge of product specifications and production standards
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Problem solving skills
• Strong attention to details
• Excellent organization skills
• Multitasking and time management skills

Working Conditions

• Standard shifts: 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week
• Overtime: Available and compensated according to labor laws
• Breaks: 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute rest breaks per shift
• Safety Standards: Mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), regular safety drills, clearly marked emergency exits and first aid stations
• Work Environment: Well-ventilated and adequately lit workspaces, exposure to extreme temperatures, designated smoking areas outside of the facility
