Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly using measuring tools such as measuring tape, rulers, and calipers.
• Use Flux Core welding techniques to weld various components.
• Operate cutting torch, plasma, power tools and hand tools.
• Weld structural and architectural components.
• Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and instructions.
• Build jigs.
• Examine work for defects and ensure conformance with specifications.
• Maintain an inventory of minimum required tools.
• Maintain a clean welding environment.
• Follow and abide by company safety policies.
• Assist in overall production including paint prep, loading & unloading material, pulling needed material and any other duties as assigned.
