Welder and Fabricator

About the role

Responsible for designing, constructing, assembling, and maintaining metal structures and components using various welding and fabrication techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design and fabricate metal structures and components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Operate welding equipment and perform various types of welding including arc welding, gas welding, and brazing.
• Inspect work for quality and make necessary adjustments to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to resolve technical issues and improve production efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in welding and fabrication.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in oxyacetylene welding, shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), and gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW).
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and material selection.
• Experience with CNC machines and computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Pay

$20-$25 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM.
