About the role
A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced 3G MIG & TIG Welder to join its team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of fabrication projects in a modern manufacturing environment supporting multiple industries.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, Flux-Core, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions
- Measure, mark, and prepare materials for fabrication and assembly
- Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and tape measures
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and specification requirements are met
- Perform fabrication and sheet metal work as required
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure project success
Qualifications
- Ability to pass a 3G weld test
- Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience
- Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing experience
Preferred qualifications include previous fabrication experience, sheet metal experience, welding certifications, and experience working with multiple welding processes.
