About The Role
Welders support manufacturing operations by producing quality welded assemblies using MIG welding and fabrication equipment. This role works from blueprints and work instructions to fixture, tack, and weld steel assemblies while ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent production.
Responsibilities
- Load parts into robotic welding fixtures and secure them properly.
- Start and monitor robotic welding programs.
- Inspect welded parts for quality and consistency.
- Made minor robot program adjustments such as touch-ups or position edits.
- Perform light touch-up welding when needed.
- Set weld parameters such as voltage and wire speed.
- Maintain robotic welding cells and keep equipment organized and efficient.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years welding experience OR welding technical school training.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
- Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
- Basic math and measuring skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using computers and production software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Willingness to learn robotic welding systems.
Pay and Schedule
- Compensation: $26 – $30 per hour based on experience.
- Ranges from $2.00 per hour 2nd shift differential.
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday (4 pm - 2:30 am).
