Welder - 2nd and Weekend Shift
Key Responsibilities
- MIG Welding: Perform MIG welding on mild steel, working with materials ranging from 20 gauge to 1-inch thickness.
- High-Quality Fabrication: Produce accurate, durable components following detailed work instructions and specifications.
- Certification Support: Standard Iron supports you in achieving certifications relevant to your role, such as D1.1 GMAW and D1.3 GMAW.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret welding symbols and blueprints to ensure accurate setups and welds.
- Tool Mastery: Utilize a variety of metal finishing tools, including grinders and abrasives, to meet our high standards.
- Safe Equipment Operation: Operate lifting devices such as cranes, positioners, magnets, and hooks efficiently, following all safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of one year of MIG welding experience, preferred.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, steady hand, and a true passion for quality welding work.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

- 2nd Shift – Mon – Weds 4:30pm – 5:00am (Employees work three 12-hour shifts (36 hours) and are compensated for a full 40-hour workweek)
