Welder - 1st Shift - Lucas
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Load fixtures and weld parts as required
- Safely use all tools necessary for the position
- Maintain inventory accuracy at all times
- Read blueprints and utilize AWS weld symbols as required for the position
- Consistently achieve quality welds while staying on production schedule
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
- MIG welding experience and ability to pass weld test, as required
- Ability to give strong attention to detail and stay on-task in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of team concepts and strong team player
- Ability to read blueprints and recognize AWS weld symbols
- Safe use of hand and power tools and welding equipment
- Willingness to embrace Lean Manufacturing culture and implement change
- Compliance with Great Plains and OSHA safety regulations and wearing prescribed safety and protective equipment
This position works Monday through Thursday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with overtime on Fridays as required.
