Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings or schematics to determine appropriate welding processes.
• Position, align, fit and weld parts to form complete units or subunits, following blueprints and layout specifications using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools.
• Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts as needed.
• Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5‑S practices.

Pay

The expected pay scale for this role is $23.41‑25.14 per hour, depending on experience, skill set, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for monthly bonus, health, and welfare benefits and 401(k) match in accordance with BlueScope policies.
