Weld Technician - 2nd Shift
About the role
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Weld Technician - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility. The core hours are Monday - Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $25.44 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols
- Perform quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and product standards
- Collaborate within a cross-functional team of skilled welders
- Use equipment such as robotic welders, hand welders, progressive welders, and AutoMig welding equipment
Qualifications
- A minimum of six (6) months’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous Welding Experience
- Welding Certification
