Welding Technician - 2nd Shift
About the role
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Welding Technician - 2nd Shift at our Troy, IL facility. The core hours are 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $25.44 per hour, plus $0.50 per hour shift premium. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure weld integrity and product standards.
- Operate an Overhead Crane to safely move materials and components.
Qualifications
- A minimum of six (6) months experience in a manufacturing environment.

Position Success Criteria
- Must be able to use a tape measure and calipers.
- Must be able to wear PPE, including helmets, aprons, sleeves, gloves.
