Weld Repair Technician

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, specializes in providing world‑class service, repair and re‑manufacturing in the areas of electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos and mechanical components for various industries.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair non‑automated and robotic welders, including but not limited to Lincoln Electric and Miller Electric.
• Perform teardown, evaluation, cleaning, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of welders.
• Maintain evaluation notes and work with the group leader to establish cost to repair based on parts required and labor requirements.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints, as well as wiring schematics.
• Create and document test procedures.
• Maintain and ensure cleanliness of the weld room and bench.
• Communicate efficiently and effectively within all facets of the company.
• Work independently and stay on task.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Willing to travel to both Miller Electric and Lincoln Electric training centers to become certified.
• Basic computer skills (email and other “Office” applications).
• Willing to become hi‑lo/crane certified.
• Good organizational skills and maintain good housekeeping.
