Troubleshoot and Repair
- Repair non-automated and robotic welders including but not limited to Lincoln Electric and Miller Electric.
- Perform teardown, evaluation, cleaning, troubleshooting, repairing, and testing of welders.
- Maintain evaluation notes and work with group leader to establish cost to repair based on parts required and labor requirements.
Skills and Knowledge
- Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints, as well as wiring schematics.
- Create and document test procedures.
Physical Environment
- Maintain and ensure cleanliness of weld room and bench.
- Willing to travel to both Miller Electric and Lincoln Electric training centers to become certified.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Communicate efficiently and effectively within all facets of the company.
- Work independently and stay on task.
Technical Skills
- Basic Computer Skills (email & Other “Office” Applications).
- Must have good organizational skills & maintain good housekeeping.
Qualifications
- Willing to become hi-lo/crane certified.
