Welcome Desk Staff

Ithaca & Hanover Welcome Desk (2-3 shifts/wk, about 6-12h)

About the role:

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people and is comfortable taking the lead in conversations. Our Welcome Desk team proactively greets students, helps new visitors feel at ease, and guides students toward the passes and memberships that best support their practice.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively greet students
• Help new visitors feel at ease
• Guide students toward the passes and memberships that best support their practice
• Follow systems and checklists
• Communicate clearly with the team
• Help keep the studio running smoothly behind the scenes

Requirements:

• Friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented
• A regular yoga practice and a genuine interest in building community are important for this role

Qualifications:

• Comfortable taking the lead in conversations
• Experience working in a customer service role is a plus

Schedule:

Shifts begin one hour before the first class of the morning or evening and end after the final class has been checked in. We currently have weekday morning and evening shifts available.
