Weight Management Physician - Atrius Health
Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities
- Provide direct outpatient care for patients with obesity and related conditions
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans incorporating behavioral, nutritional, pharmacologic, and bariatric surgical therapies
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team that includes physicians, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and partnerships with psychologists and surgeons
- Provide 36 patient contact hours and 4 administrative hours per week
- Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities
- Stay current on advancements in obesity medicine and bariatric care
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO, Board Certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) or Family Medicine (ABFM)
- ABOM Certification
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Pay
The salary range for this role is $238,500 to $392,500 annually based on full-time employment. Salary Range is defined as total cash compensation at target. The actual range and pay mix of base and bonus is variable based upon experience and metric achievement.
