Physician Assistant - Weight Management

About the role

The Endocrinology and Weight Management Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will work closely with the outpatient Metabolic Medicine and Weight Management physician to provide comprehensive patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and educate patients on diabetes and endocrinology management
• Review lab results and manage patient medication regimens
• Triage patient phone calls and address symptoms and side effects
• Oversee weight check-ins and provide ongoing support

Requirements

• Current license to practice in the state of Connecticut
• Experience in endocrinology and/or weight management preferred
• Strong clinical skills and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program
• Active NP or PA certification
• At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Proficient in electronic medical records systems

Schedule

Full-time 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday 8a-5p; no weekends/holidays/call required
