About the role

Responsible for ensuring all employees are in their assigned areas and performing their job functions for the day. Oversee equipment functionality, address any issues that arise, and communicate problems to appropriate personnel, including equipment malfunctions, coworker concerns, and safety hazards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor employee presence and job performance in assigned areas.
• Ensure equipment (e.g., scan guns, pallet jacks, forklifts) is operational; resolve or report issues promptly.
• Communicate equipment, coworker, and safety issues to relevant personnel.
• Manage incoming and outgoing trucks using computer systems and scan guns.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize numbers, customer names, and label-related problems.
• Familiarity with equipment such as scan guns, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Capable of standing or walking for 8–10 hours on concrete or metal grate floors.
• Basic computer knowledge for truck logistics and scan gun troubleshooting.
• Strong work, safety, and attendance record.
