Weekend Support Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Support, supervise, and serve as a positive role model for residents
• Assist with medication monitoring and administration per program policies
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and records
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Support residents with daily living skills and treatment objectives
• Respond effectively to emergencies and crises
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to diverse populations
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Additional Details

Training in DHS 83 preferred or completed after hire

Local travel may be required (approximately 25–50%)

Part-time schedule includes every other weekend and a weekly staff meeting
