Weekend Support Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Support residents by providing supervision, positive role modeling, and assisting with daily routines
• Monitor and administer medications following program policies
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks
• Support residents' daily living skills and treatment goals
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful to diverse populations
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Additional Info

Training in DHS 83 preferred or to be completed post-hire

Local travel may be required (approximately 25–50%)
