Responsibilities
- Provide support, supervision, and positive role modeling for residents
- Assist with medication monitoring and administration according to policies
- Complete documentation and maintain confidential records
- Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and laundry duties
- Support residents with daily living skills and treatment goals
- Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately
- Transport residents to appointments and community resources
- Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as required
- Attend staff meetings and complete training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to diverse populations
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
DHS 83 training preferred or to be completed post-hire. Local travel may be required (25–50%) based on program needs.
