Weekend Support Worker - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Support, supervise, and serve as a positive role model for residents
• Assist with medication monitoring, administration, and documentation
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and laundry duties
• Help residents develop daily living skills and achieve treatment goals
• Respond to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately
• Transport residents to appointments and community resources
• Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests as needed
• Attend staff meetings and complete required training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to diverse populations
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

Additional Information

Preferred DHS 83 training or willingness to complete post-hire. Local travel may be required (approximately 25–50%).
