Weekend Support Worker - Part-Time

About the role

Provide compassionate support and supervision to residents in a trauma-informed, gender-specific recovery program for adult women, including those with infants. The role involves supporting recovery, creating a safe environment, and fostering independence among residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration
• Maintain confidential records
• Prepare meals
• Perform light housekeeping
• Support residents' daily living skills and treatment goals
• Respond to emergencies
• Transport residents
• Collect urine or breathalyzer samples as needed
• Participate in staff meetings and training to ensure quality care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services or behavioral health preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism
• Compassion, patience, and respect are essential
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record required
• DHS 83 training preferred or to be completed after hire
• Local travel may be required
