Responsibilities
- Provide support, supervision, and positive role modeling for residents
- Assist with medication monitoring and administration
- Complete accurate, confidential documentation
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Support residents with daily living skills and treatment goals
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and crisis situations
- Transport residents to appointments and community resources
- Collect urine samples and administer breathalyzer tests
- Attend staff meetings and training
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance recovery preferred
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining boundaries
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
DHS 83 training preferred; local travel may be required.
The role involves supporting recovery in a trauma-informed, gender-specific residential program for women, including those with infants.
