Weekend Supervisor Registered Nurse ( RN )

About the role

Excelcare at the Pines is seeking an RN Weekend Supervisor to provide leadership and clinical oversight for weekend operations in their skilled nursing facility.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate clinical care during weekend shifts
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to facility policies
• Provide direct patient care when necessary
• Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Communicate with families, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
• Respond to emergencies and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of New Jersey
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing
• Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
