Weekend Shipping Associate

Essential Functions

• Filling orders through fabric cutting at satisfactory levels of productivity keeping safety and quality in mind at all times
• Help support the Eastman automated cutting machine to cut fabric into parts according to specifications
• Restock, replenish, and move inventory correctly
• Develop the ability to receive incoming shipments
• Lend assistance in the Quilting department (e.g. trimming, staging, binding, checking in quilts, shipping quilts) during peak periods

Physical Requirements

• Continuous walking and standing for long periods of time
• Squatting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, twisting, reaching, pushing and pulling on a frequent basis
• Frequently lifting up to 20 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds (with assistance)
• Repetitive motion of wrists, hands, and/or fingers while operating a keyboard or use of a rotary cutter
• Navigate ladders or step stools as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Computer and handheld technology adept
• Reading and comprehension skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames
• Willingness to learn and welcomes change while being flexible
• Able to multitask and work independently with strong time management skills
• Able to take initiative, look for solutions, and accomplish requested results
