Weekend Shift Supervisor - RN

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and meet all applicable federal and state licensure requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of nurse management or supervisory experience required
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, hospital, or healthcare leadership required
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards of care and clinical practices
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, physicians, and regulatory agencies
• Ability to make independent decisions and lead confidently in fast-paced situations
• Excellent nursing assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Computer literacy and experience with electronic documentation systems
• Strong leadership, accountability, and team-building skills

Essential Job Functions

• Assist the Director of Nursing in organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing nursing services
• Help rebuild and strengthen nursing team culture, accountability, and communication
• Conduct compliance and quality rounds throughout the shift
• Implement plans of correction and assist with regulatory readiness
• Supervise Charge Nurses, LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and Med Techs
• Absorb staffing coordination and scheduling needs
• Support onboarding and development of nursing staff
• Ensure residents receive high-quality clinical care and customer service
• Absorb admissions and resident transitions
• Complete required clinical documentation, reports, evaluations, and audits
• Absorb counseling, coaching, evaluating, and developing nursing personnel
• Other duties as assigned
