Weekend shift Assembler - La Vergne TN

Position Description

Performs all duties according to established safety, quality, and efficiency procedures; and maintains workstation in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.

Responsibilities

• Assembles mattress units per established work instructions using a variety of tools and machinery (automated and non-automated)
• Processes foam mattresses per tasks such as, but not limited to; component preparation, assembly, gluing, laminating, coating, measuring, applying initial covering, sewing, applying final coverings, feeding machines, packaging, and preparing for storage or shipment
• Inspects mattress components and finished units for unacceptable flaws or defects
• Specific tasks are assigned and cross-training to other assembly tasks is required
• Other reasonable duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to work in packing, boxing, wrapping, production, assembly
• Looking for individuals with a great attitude
• Must be 18 years of age or older to work in manufacturing environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred

Skills

• Attention to detail
• Physical stamina and strength
• Basic computer skills

Schedule

Weekend shift: 5:00am-5:30pm, Friday through Sunday
