Weekend RN Supervisor

Position Overview

Throgs Neck Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a Weekend Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for a part-time role. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled nursing professional with experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.

Position Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support daily nursing operations.
• Supervise, guide, and support nursing staff to ensure quality care and compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Conduct routine rounds to monitor resident care, staff performance, and overall facility standards.
• Assist with regulatory surveys, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Address clinical concerns and collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and effective care environment.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellence throughout the nursing department.

Qualifications

• Current and active RN License in the State of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation nursing.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, leadership abilities, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
