Weekend Respiratory Therapist II - NICU

Role: Respiratory Therapist II responsible for delivering complex respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments in critical care settings. Key Duties: Perform ventilator management, airway procedures, arterial blood gas analysis, and patient education. Collaborate with healthcare teams to plan and implement care, ensuring patient safety and quality standards. Mentor new staff and students, promote evidence-based practices, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited respiratory therapy program with an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred). Valid Respiratory Therapist license, certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP, and 0-2 years clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
