About the role

Residential Direct Support Professionals provide support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in residential settings. The role involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring safety and comfort. Responsibilities also include maintaining records, communicating with families and other professionals, and participating in team meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support individuals in developing social skills and communication abilities.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
• Communicate regularly with families and other professionals involved in the individual's care.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.
• Pass a background check and criminal history review.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Schedule

Shifts are typically Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with additional weekend shifts available.
