Weekend Overnight Dispatcher (Part Time: Kansas City, MO)

About the role

The Project Administrator/Dispatcher supports the maintenance department with workflow management and field contact. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the call centers, customers, and citizens for streetlight & traffic signal issues
• Create work orders, update work orders, enter field comments
• Communicate with field personnel regarding repairs
• Ensure the dispatch performance criteria of the contracts are met
• High customer service level required
• Maintain multiple systems for timely responses
• Monitor security cameras

Skills, Abilities, and Other Requirements

• Shift hours: Friday 11:00pm to 7:00am, Saturday 7:00pm to 7:00am, Sunday 3:00pm to 11:00pm
• 24/7 department, including all holidays
• Additional hours possible as needed to cover open shifts
• Must communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with all levels in the organization and with outside clients
• Must be a self-starter, able to work alone, with others, and handle multiple tasks
• Must be able to keep self on track while working alone
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and Excel
