Weekend Mobile Acute Care Nurse II

About the role

Our Mobile Acute Care (MAC) team is changing the way care is delivered in the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. MAC nurses work autonomously to assess patients, then collaborate in real-time with providers to develop and implement care plans that help patients heal at home. Immediate weekend-only openings (Saturday & Sunday). This role is ideal for nurses looking for a flexible schedule while continuing to practice at a high clinical level. You will work from a company provided vehicle and travel primarily to patient homes around your area. We are 100% digital – all charting is via apps; we use Microsoft Teams and SharePoint to collaborate along with Apple hardware (iPad or MacBook.)

Responsibilities

• Work autonomously to assess patients
• Collaborate in real-time with providers to develop and implement care plans
• Help patients heal at home
• Travel to patient homes around your assigned area (Baltimore, Silver Spring, NoVA, PG County/DC)
• Chart digitally via apps

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in acute care: MedSurg, ER, IMC/progressive Care
• Solid driving records
• Compact State RN licenses and willingness to acquire DC license upon hire
• Excellent references
• Desire to improve their practice and learn new skills
