Weekend Nurse

About the role

The Congregation of Holy Cross in Notre Dame, IN is seeking two part-time Weekend Nurses, LPN or RN, to provide care and support to the men residing in their religious community.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to residents at Holy Cross House
• Arrive punctually and be ready to work in a clean, bright facility
• Learn and understand the needs of residents, offering interaction in a loving and caring manner
• Notice and address the needs of residents, providing medical, nutritional, emotional, and/or spiritual care
• Offer consistent work and make routine decisions
• Maintain confidentiality and follow work instructions accurately and safely
• Remain calm under pressure and offer leadership to the nursing team
• Communicate proactively and maintain a positive attitude

Requirements

• 1-3 years relevant experience
• Current and valid Registered Nurse or LPN license in the State of Indiana
• Experience with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting up to 25 pounds

Work Schedule

• 2 shift options available: 1st shift (6:30 am-3:00 pm) and 2nd shift (2:30 pm-11:00 pm)
• Average 20 hours per week, working mainly Saturdays and Sundays

Benefits

• Competitive starting pay range of $34.00 to $48.00/hr for RN and $28.00 to $32.00/hr for LPN, plus an additional shift incentive bonus of $2.00/hour
